About me

Hello! I'm Ellis Buckminster, a fifth year PhD student in Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania working with Sam Taylor. I use they/them pronouns. I'm broadly interested in low-dimensional topology, dynamics, and making the math community a place where everyone can thrive. More specifically, I focus on foliations on 3-manifolds, Anosov and pseudo-Anosov flows, endperiodic maps, and circles. Here is my CV.

I am currently on the job market for a postdoctoral position starting in Fall 2027.
