Outreach and community

I am the graduate student organizer for the Penn Emerging Scholar Program for the 2024-2025 academic year. This program is aimed at first and second year undergraduates who are potentially interested in majoring in math and exposes them to aspects of math other than calculus and computation.

I am an organizer for Penn's GeMs in Math group along with Maxine Calle and Ava Mock for the 2024-2025 academic year.

I have participated in the following panels, either as a panelist or moderator:

• Social responsibility and career building in academia and beyond, GTA Philadelphia 2024 (moderator)
• UP GRADe (a workshop for underrepresented minorities interested in math grad school), 2024 (panelist)
• The Penn math graduate program's prospective student day, 2024 (panelist)
• Swarthmore's panel on applying to math grad school, 2023 (panelist)
